April 16, 2020
Dear Esteemed Customers,
COVID-19 OPERATIONS UPDATE – 14 DAYS EXTENSION
We will get through this together
I cannot think of another time that we have experienced a pandemic as far-reaching as COVID-19. This virus has had a global impact on our families, communities, and businesses. Clearly, the highest priority is the health and safety of lives during this period.
On Monday, April 13, 2020, the President of the Federal Government of Nigeria extended the initial 14 days lock down period by another 14 days, to further reduce the transmission of the virus. Furthermore, as at 11:20pm on April 15, 2020, the NCDC reported 407 confirmed cases of persons infected in Nigeria. We expect that schools will be shut down even longer than the additional 14 days. Yet we continue to hope schools will soon be reopened soon after lock down is lifted
In view of this, we as a bank will continue to offer remote banking services and prompt virtual support to our customers as we wait for the pandemic to turn around. Our remote processes and systems are still in place, as well as our relationship officers who are still working tirelessly to serve you.
However, if you are unable to reach your relationship officer, kindly note the following as contacts for loans and other financial services:

Because we are mindful of the impact of COVID-19 on schools, during this period, we started an EdTech knowledge sharing series, on Technologies for School Resilience During COVID-19. This is distributed on our WhatsApp, Email, Social Media, and selected partner platforms to benefit the wider ecosystem. We urge you to take advantage of the technologies suggested in the series for school improvement and continuity. If you have further questions on technology series, kindly reach out to Adedayo Falokun on adedayof@edfinmfb.com.
Please continue to ensure that you practice social distancing and strict personal hygiene as recommended the World Health Organisation (WHO) and Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
We will get through this storm together.
Thank you for your understanding and my very best you and your family this period.
Sincerely,
Bunmi Lawson
